Easter Sunday

Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid! Go tell my brothers to leave for Galilee, and they see me there. Matthew 28:10.

Why did Jesus tell the disciples to go to Galilee? This was a place of significance for them.

Galilee was where Jesus had first called most of the men to be disciples. Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people.” Matthew 4:19.

In Galilee, Jesus would restate and renew their mission. “Go and make disciples of all the nations.” Matthew 28:19.

In obedience to the Risen Lord Jesus Christ, let us return to Galilee to one of the many high moments of encountering the Lord Jesus Christ. Relive it. Let it overwhelms us to refresh, deepen, and strengthen our hope and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Lord has truly risen, Alleluia.

You are my Lord and my God. John 20:28.

I trust in you!
