Lenten Reflection

Begin your Lenten season with these 3 questions. Take some time to reflect upon and know your relationship with God.

Lent offers an opportunity to develop intentionality in our spiritual lives. By setting aside time for prayer and reflection on God’s word, we can cultivate a deeper awareness of His presence in our daily lives.

Also, within the Catholic tradition, taking time to reflect and connect with oneself is important. It provides an opportunity to stop, breathe and remember what is important. On the second day of Lent, we encourage you to pause for a moment and ponder upon these 3 questions.

1. Who am I? Who is Jesus?

How much do I know myself? How much do I know Jesus?

God is pleased when we want to know Him, He will reveal himself to those who love Him. The more we know Him, the more we will discover our own identity in Him.

2. Where am I now?

How is my personal life now? Am I rejoicing at the present? Am I feeling peaceful and grateful? If not what could have the reason?

The more closer our relationship with Jesus the less worry we have because we know our all-knowing God is supreme over all our worries and He will give strength and grace to those who trust in Him, to help us overcome all our challenges in life.

2. Where am I going?

Do I love God above all other the created things? Do I seek His kingdom first?

Jesus told us we all should put God in priority and seek first God's kingdom and the rest He will give it to us when time is right. We often struggle with own worries because we want to take control of everything but most likely ended up make our life a mess. Humble before God and He will make straight our path.
