Sunday of the Word of God

The word of God lights the way, giving direction for each step (guide my feet) and giving wisdom for long range plans (for my path). Joshua links the regular application of the Word of God to life as the most certain way to both success and prosperity in living. 

“Study this book of instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. 

Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.”Joshua 1:8 

Let the Word of God guide, correct, instruct, lead, teach, and confirm. Do not hasted ahead without it.

Simon Peter replied, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life.” John 6:68
