2nd Sunday of Lent
And a voice from the cloud said, “This is my dearly beloved son, who brings me great joy. Listen to Him.” Matthew 17.5.
Jesus is more than just a great leader, a good example, a good influence, or a great prophet. He is the Son of God. When you understand this profound truth, your only adequate response will be to worship Him.
Today, some consider Jesus’ teachings as merely one more religious point of view.
But God said to listen only to Him. Regard Him as your authority for truth and guidance.
“Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life. We believe and we know you are the Holy one of God.” John 6.68.
