不堪当领受圣体圣事
“所以人应省察自己，然后纔可以吃这饼，喝这杯。因为那吃喝的人，若不分辨主的身体，就是吃喝自己的罪案。” （格前11:28-29）
这一经文的理解是指人未能在圣体圣事中辨认基督真实的临在和祂在圣事中的神圣作为。
