Equip for a mission

“One day when the crowds were being baptized, Jesus Himself was baptized. As He was praying, the heavens opened, and the Holy Spirit, in bodily form, descended on Him like a dove. And a voice from heaven said: “You are my dearly loved son, and you bring me great joy.” Luke 3:21-22

We, too, at baptism and confirmation, are equipped with the Holy Spirit for our mission in life to prosper and succeed in all we do to live a rich and satisfying life. John 10:10

At our morning prayer, thank God for the gift of a new and wonderful day. And ask Him to empower us afresh with the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit to prosper succeed in all we do. Amen. 

In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams. Acts 2:17
