2nd Sunday of Ordinary Time

Andrew went to find His Brother, Simon, and told Him, “We have found the Messiah (Which means “Christ”).

Then Andrew brought Simon to meet Jesus. Looking intently at Simon, Jesus said “Your name is Simon, Son of John, but you will be called Cephas (Which means “Peter”) (John 1:41-42).

Not only did Andrew tell His brother Simon “We have found the Messiah,” He was also eager to introduce Simon to Jesus.

Like Andrew, we are called to introduce our friends to Jesus. In telling them the stories about every good thing, no matter how big or how small, that the Lord Jesus has done in our lives.
