3rd Sunday of Ordinary Time

The time promised by God has come at last! He announced. The kingdom of God is near! Good News! (Mark 1:15).

These first words spoken by Jesus in the Gospel of St. Mark give the core of the teaching of Jesus.

The long-awaited Messiah has come on earth to offer man the kingdom of God, the presence, love, and the word of God to take charge/rule His life.

Man needs to humble himself. Turn to God. And admits that he needs Him.

Please, God, Rescue me!

Come quickly, Lord, and help me! (Psalm 70:1).

And to welcome the Lord Jesus, to take charge of our lives. To love, protect, teach, and empower us to prosper and succeed in all we do.

As part of morning prayer

Almighty and merciful God

May your kingdom come

To take charge of my life

Protect and Empower me

To prosper and succeed

In all I do today.
