Rejoice In Hope of A Better Tomorrow

The hope that is born through faith in Christ is based on the real and awesome deeds and words of Jesus, demonstrated most strikingly in His resurrection from the dead.

Faith comes through hearing, and so does hope. Hearing the word of God and the wonderful promises and deeds of Christ increases our faith and our hope. Knowing Jesus and His word more helps us to believe more and hope more. Prayer, scripture reading, regular contact with others who believe and hope in Him. The Eucharist. Spiritual reading. Faith and hope filled music. Contact with Christ in His word, His Spirit, His body, His people, His gifts help us grow in faith and hope.

In the Jubilee year 2024, the Holy Father, Pope Francis, is calling us seek God. Hunger for Him. Go where you can have contact with Him. Seek Him and His kingdom first. “Let all that I wait quietly before God, for my hope is in Him.” Psalm 62.5

“I pray that God, the source of Hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in Him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.” Roman 15:13

May it indeed be so!

We will launch the Jubilee year of hope on 5.1.25, Epiphany of the Lord, with opportunities/events to encounter the Lord Jesus Christ to grow in hope and trust in Him to live a rich and satisfying life. “Jesus, I trust in You!”
